Onboard 7: The SOMA Community. Stay Connected & Motivated.

A new rhythm taking shape. What it means to be a part of SOMA.

You’ve made it through your first few weeks at SOMA Movement Studio—and we couldn’t be more excited for you.

Maybe you’ve found a favorite class. Maybe you’re still adjusting your spring settings. Maybe you’ve just started to feel that subtle lift in your spine or that quiet confidence in your core. However it’s showing up for you—we want to celebrate this moment. You’ve started a new relationship with movement, and we’re honored to be a part of it.

At SOMA, we believe that movement is more than exercise—it’s a practice of presence, intelligence, and care. And now that you’re officially part of our studio family, we’d love to show you what’s possible when you stay connected.

What Makes SOMA Different

You’ve likely noticed by now that we do things a little differently.

Our classes are intentionally small—just six clients—so that you can receive personalized attention and hands-on support. Each instructor brings deep expertise, a whole-person approach, and a genuine desire to help you move better, breathe deeper, and feel more at home in your body.

PLEASE ASK YOUR QUESTIONS DURING, BEFORE OR AFTER CLASS. If your shy, text us anytime at (860) 470-6683. We are happy to help and want you to feel empowered with knowledge and a sense of agency.

We don’t just teach Pilates—we teach you how to move well.

Stay Connected with the SOMA Community

Research shows that people are more likely to reach their fitness goals—and stick with them—when they feel socially connected. At SOMA, there are a few simple ways to stay engaged and in the loop:

  • Talk to People: We hope you’ll make meaningful connections—whether it’s chatting with classmates in our small, interactive classes or mingling at SOMA’s community events.
